Delivering you a GeM of a service
We closed 2013 with our first GeM customer satisfaction survey. The survey was designed to ensure that the service that we are delivering to you is of the highest standard and works to assist your institution in getting access to contract data and the best value for money on your purchases.
We are very pleased to announce that the results were incredibly positive and we are grateful to those who took the time to complete the survey. For those who commented on their use of the GeM service, be it one or all of the contracts database, eMarketplace and request for quote facility, you find the service easy to use and helpful in completion of your procurement activities.
As part of the customer satisfaction survey, we ran a competition to win a £40 M and S voucher. Our congratulations go to Rob Allan at University of York who was the lucky winner!
Insight are now live and waiting to trade with your institution
We are very pleased to announce that Insight are now live on the eMarketplace. Insight’s presence on the eMarketplace makes it easy for your buyers to collaboratively purchase goods from either the ITRAP or the software agreements to get the best deals on purchases for your institution.
This new supplier to the GeM system joins the growing list of contracted suppliers waiting to receive your orders through GeM. You can see who else is waiting to trade with you on the GeM website.
Setting your institution up on GeM is an easy process and will see you making savings, purchasing collaboratively and reducing administrative costs by centralising your institutions buying process. New training dates announced
We have just announced our training dates for the coming months.
The training sessions are designed to be accessed by users at all levels from GeM administrator to departmental buyer ensuring that your users get the best out of the system. So whether you or your users want to find out how to upload a local contract or purchase a pen, these sessions will show you how to use GeM to make purchase quickly and easily for your institution.
