This month marks the first anniversary of GeM.
Over the last year we have had 28,682 unique visitors to the site, trained 261 users and received and successfully resolved 904 customer enquiries.
During the past month we have delivered six enhancements to GeM. These enhancements include the launch of request for quote, IP authenticated access and a new look GeM landing page.
We started phase two of GeM earlier in the year and are now approaching delivery. Phase two focuses on consolidating the enhancements to the contracts database and rolling out the GeM eMarketplace to those institutions that do not have their own eMarketplace. The number of suppliers ready to trade through the GeM eMarketplace has also increased over the last year and more news on new suppliers is included below. If you are interested in finding out more about the eMarketplace please contact JISC Procureweb on 02920 870333 or eMail email@example.com.
Agreements live for Request for Quote
We have taken on board what you, our users, have fed back to us and as direct result of this have now delivered one of the first enhancements - request for quote functionality on the contracts database. This went live in July and we now have 101 suppliers on 26 agreements set up to receive and reply to quotation requests directly from GeM. We are continually adding more agreements to those already live for quote request so to find out more about which agreements are live visit the GeM website.
28 Suppliers now on the eMarketplace
We are pleased to announce that we now have 28 suppliers live on GeM including our newest additions XMA and Iansyst Ltd. The full list of suppliers is available on the GeM website.
